Lovett’s Program Cosmetology Course

​

Lovett’s 1,500-hour cosmetology course has been developed to train and educate cosmetology students and provide them with the tools & knowledge they need to successfully pass Georgia's State Board of Cosmetology examination.

​

The complete tuition for this cosmetology course is $6,000. Students interested in enrolling in these cosmetology classes have the option to pay the tuition over eleven payments or, if they prefer, they can make a one-time payment of $5,000.

Lovett’s cosmetology classes include all required textbooks and a student starter kit that includes –

​

• A variety of brushes, combs, clips, and cases.

• Rollers and blow dryer, flat iron, with all attachments.

• Electric clippers and trimmer.

• Cutting, and thinning shears.

• Styling capes.

• Mannequin, among many other items.

 

The curriculum for the coursework offered by Lovett Beauty School includes the following beauty and wellness, cosmetology classes –

• Haircutting.

• Hairstyling & thermal curl waving.

• Nail & texture services.

• Hair extensions, add-on braids, & wigs.

• Permanent waves and/or hair relaxing methodologies.

• Hair coloring, including tinting, frosting, bleaching, & tipping.

• Hair and scalp treatments, including shampooing and conditioning, among others.

• Salon & business management skills, including interpersonal skills.

 

Students enrolled in Lovett’s cosmetology course programs can complete the program in approximately one year if attending classes based on a full-time course load. Part-time students attending classes during the day will complete the program in 1 – 2 years.

When a student completes 1,500 hours of training, relevant services, financial obligations, and examinations, they will be awarded a completion certificate. Check out our orientation package for new students.

• A Nail Technician Course – this 525-hour course’s tuition is $2,000 paid over four payments or $1,800 as a one-time payment.

• An Esthetician Course – this 1,000-hour course’s tuition is $4,500 paid over nine payments or $4,000 as a one-time payment.

• A Barbering Course – this 1,500-hour course’s tuition is $5,000 paid over nine payments or $3,500 as a one-time payment.

• Instructor Courses – these courses vary in hours (250 - 750-hours), depending on the instructor course selected.
